I used to just slap any old beard oil on my face, whatever was cheap at the big box store.  I thought my acne, rashes and itching was just part of the experience of rocking a beard.  

As I grew older and my beard went from dark brown and reddish to slat and pepper, I began to notice staining. Let’s just say I looked like a was bad at spitting my chewing tobacco. (Didn’t chew, so…)  

So I started reading the labels, I was shocked at some of the ingredients and chemicals and the percentage of healthy oils (LOW) to crap filler oils and preservatives (HIGH).

I bought a “Premium Oil” and it did not stain, it had just a handful of ingredients, ones that I could even pronounce and spell.  My acne, rashes and itchies pretty much all went away. But so did my money, A long beard and active life style can burn through oil pretty quick.

I did a little research and started buying and mixing my own. I tried dozens of formulations. Gave them to family and friends until I refined “Mix 1” , an all organic, preservative free, unscented beard oil.

It saved me a bit of money over the “Premium Oils”, but more importantly I was using better oils and by making for my small group of bearded brothers, I was saving them money.

Now, I bring to you the same, small batch products, with superior oils, better than some costing 3 times as much.

My beard is almost pure white now and I will never go back to big box store oils.
